Taxable Sales in Palm Coast Continues to GROW- Prosperity at Work

Palm Coast recently received updated data from the Florida Department of Revenue indicating that taxable sales grew 8.32% in 2011 from the previous year, for a total of $550,069,747. From 2007 to 2011, the taxable sales in Palm Coast grew 20.57% or $93,825,964. Palm Coast continues to be a bright spot for business sales growth and for “Prosperity at Work”. The taxable sales in Palm Coast now represent 79.34% of the total taxable sales in Flagler County.

The Palm Coast City Council has implemented many programs contained in its economic development program, Prosperity 2021. Efforts include launching the Palm Coast Business Center, completing various essential capital projects, marketing efforts to attract sports tournaments and maintaining quality neighborhoods. Palm Coast continues to be a great place to live, play and grow a business.
